We’re delighted to introduce the 16 authors contributing to Many Hands: An Anthology of Polyamorous Erotica!
Born and raised in the Wisconsin northwoods, Alex Bauer is a part-time author and full-time menace. When he’s not writing, he can be found communing with his animals via prolonged eye contact and inhuman chittering. Summoning him is as easy as leaving a cup of coffee unattended (or rolling a shiny object past his hidey-hole).
He developed a passion for books and writing in early childhood, concerning librarians and classmates alike with the number of books he could devour in any given week. Ever since, he’s endeavored to channel that passion (and his queer experience) into his own creative work.
He is a proud multifandom multishipper. His favorite characters are mostly powerful, wet-cat-energy protagonists who would rather be anywhere else but their current story. While he started out as a Naruto fiend, his current favorite fandoms include Trigun, Bungou Stray Dogs, Voltron: Legendary Defender, and Boku no Hero Academia.
enchantedsleeper is a writer and general fandom enthusiast from the UK who has been knocking around the internet and fandom since 2004-ish. She came to fandom through anime and manga and reading second-person quizzes on Quizilla, before discovering Fanfiction.net and later, AO3. She mainly creates fanfic but has also dabbled in fanart, cosplay, fancrafts, fanvids, and meta throughout her time in fandom.
She previously published an essay in Ofic Magazine, “From Anime to (Quiz)Zilla: A fandom origin story” about her history with fandom and how it has shaped her life. This is her first published original fiction.
D. A. Hernández
An author who works as a teacher, reads fanfiction compulsively, gets inspiration from her weird dreams, lives for long naps, and once in a while writes a story or two. Find her original stories in the Duck Prints Press anthologies She Wears the Midnight Crown and Aim for the Heart.
Full-time fandom cryptid, Furby enthusiast, and the human embodiment of that one gif of Elmo on fire, ilgaksu was born and raised in an undisclosed location, living in several others, and now currently residing in [REDACTED]. Their interests include collecting haunted toys, using their artistic practice as an excuse to forget to do their laundry, and playing with fictional men like Bratz dolls. They have not unclenched their jaw yet today, but they do remember to drink lots of water.
Mina has been looking through archways and in tree hollows for a portal to another world since she was six years old, and discovered along the way that she loves exploring this world almost as much. The first stories she ever told were fairy tale retellings, and she still has a soft spot for them. She’s been writing fanfiction since long before she knew what it was, but finished a story for the first time in 2020 after watching the Untamed three times in a row. Since then, she’s posted about 750k worth of stories on AO3 and modded a Big Bang. She would always rather be sipping wine by a river and learning the history of somewhere she’s never been before, but staying home with her cats, a book, or the occasional crochet project is pretty good too.

Eliot (they/them) is a queer author from the UK, whose been obsessed with writing stories for as long as they can remember. Even though they can’t swim, they love living close to the sea and on the rare instance they’re not actually writing, they can invariably found thinking about bees.
Lifelong maladaptive daydreamer, finally working up the courage to write those daydreams down. Spends time cosplaying as a Responsible Adult With A Job.
Alec J. Marsh
Alec lives in the Pacific Northwest, where they write romantic adult fantasy and self-indulgent fanfiction. They make candles inspired by their favorite characters.
K. Martin is a queer disabled writer from Canada. She has a degree in English & Contemporary Studies and a gold medal in Faculty of Arts from WLU. Previously, she’s had poetry published in ImageOutWrite Vol. 5, short fiction in Torquere’s Harvest Moon anthology, and erotic flash fiction in NSP’s Erato anthology. When not writing fanfiction or the final draft of her novel, she’s on Tumblr as @queerfictionwriter, or talking about writing over on Patreon.com/K’sCorner.
Cedar D. McCafferty-Svec
Cedar (he/him) lives with his two life partners and their menagerie of animals. He was first introduced to writing original work at the young age of 7 years old and has never stopped chasing that high of sharing the worlds inside his head. His crowning accomplishment in college was making his creative writing professor enjoy a fantasy story after having been told that all fantasy stories were boring. When not writing, Cedar can be found making various handcrafted goods or screaming into the abyss about his latest hyperfixation (currently robots).
YF Ollwell (he/him and she/her) is a queer transmasculine writer, artist and graduate student currently located in sunny California. He has been writing both original work and fanfiction for over a decade, posting predominantly in horror and anime fandoms, but has only recently began publishing his original work as well. She’s a sucker for historical settings and loves to read and write strange interactions between complicated queer characters, especially in or about the horror genre she’s devoted most of her life and study to. When not writing for work or play, YF can be found experimenting with new art modes, watching grindhouse movies, or re-reading The Stand for the seventh time.

Taliesin is a queer author who grew up bouncing around Europe and the US and currently calls Chicago home. They’ve been writing stories since they had to pester their mom to help them transcribe their words on the family desktop computer. After half a million words of posted fanfiction and a lot of kind encouragement from friends and strangers, they are delighted to be making their publishing debut with Duck Prints Press. They work as a stage manager, dog walker, bartender, and hold a Master’s degree in Humanities, with a focus in literature. No amount of school or chaotic array of part-time jobs has yet managed to stop them from reading and writing voraciously. They can also occasionally be found doing calligraphy, baking, getting really excited about Shakespeare, or walking out to look at the lake because everything seems a little better when you can stand at the edge of the water for a while.
Veronica Sanders has a deep love of modern literature that began in early childhood, when she considered Judy Blume, Ann M. Martin (IYKYK), and Barbara Parks amongst her personal heroes. Later, she added Toni Morrison, Amy Tan, and Julia Alvarez to that list, as well as (begrudgingly) a couple of boys, in the form of Kurt Vonnegut and John Irving. Her initial forays into fanfiction began in preschool, making her dolls act out fix-it scenes from her favorite TV shows. Currently, she is the admin for Artificial Queens, a Tumblr blog for RuPaul’s Drag Race-inspired fanfiction. She would like to dedicate this story to all the Blonde + Brunette couples who have inspired her over the years.
E. K. Victor
E. K. Victor, aka Smehur (they/them), is a queer writer, artist and stargazer. They have been writing fanfiction for fifteen years (mostly for Mass Effect, but also The Elder Scrolls and recently Darksiders), and original fiction for about half as long. Working with Duck Prints Press is their first foray into traditional publishing.
In one way or another, Smehur’s fiction is always about troubled m/m relationships where deception, jealousy, mental illness and/or the barriers in understanding between neurotypical and neurodivergent characters are balanced by love, loyalty, or sometimes, obsession. Their favorite trope is second chances.
Outside their creative pursuits, Smehur is a low-energy creature who shies from company and enjoys reading, gardening and gaming. Increasingly, they worry that the world will end before they get to tell it all their tales.
Dei Walker (she/her) is a queer New Englander abroad, having spent almost half her life overseas. She currently lives with her family in Beijing, China. When she isn’t writing, she can be found knitting, scuba diving, or playing games (video or tabletop).
Terra P. Waters
Terra is a scientist by day who lives in the Pacific Northwest with her family. She has been writing fiction as long as she can remember, and has always told her partner of 17 years that if she wasn’t a scientist, she would be an author. During grad school, she discovered fanfiction and immediately began writing her own. After many years and several fandoms (including Teen Wolf, Hawaii Five-0, and Stranger Things), she returned to writing original fiction. To date, she has self-published two novellas in a 90s-nostalgia polyamory comedy series, and has drafted two YA/NA sci-fi novels. When not doing science or writing, you can find Terra indulging her yarn addiction and knitting.
