Description
Halloween was her favorite day of the whole year, but Maggie wasn’t having the best time trick-or-treating. She was twelve this year and, according to most of the people handing out candy, shouldn’t be trick-or-treating. It didn’t help that she was very tall for her age. Thus, Maggie wandered the streets of the neighborhood she had lived in her whole life instead of going up to the doors. Most of the people didn’t recognize her. She spent a lot of time on her own, which bothered her only when she had too much time to think.
Tonight, it bothered her.
