What’s New From Duck Prints Press?

It’s been very busy days for us at Duck Prints Press as we gear up to start building our catalog and work on fulfillment for our summer crowdfunding campaign for the anthologies She Wears the Midnight Crown and He Bears the Cape of Stars. Today, we opened recruitment for our next anthology (Aim For The Heart: Queer Fanworks Inspired by Alexandre Dumas’s “The Three Musketeers”), added the And Seek (Not) to Alter Me e-book to our webstore, listed some more Duck Prints Press merch, and more! We’ll also be launching an enamel pin campaign soon – more on that in another e-mail (it’s going to be great and you are not gonna want to miss it!). And, going forward, we’ll be listing a new story every week on Saturday!

With all that in mind, we’ll be aiming to get these newsletters published on a more regular basis (one to two a month), sharing what we’ve now got available for you and giving some previews of what’s to come! There’s a lot in the works, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring all of it to your inboxes!

New General Press Merchandise!

We’re thrilled to now be offering the Darcy Page Paddlesworth III dux key chain and circle of rainbow dux prints stickers through our webstore! Featuring the delightful work of Alessa Riel, these merchandise items were originally offered as free extras for our monthly backers on Patreon and ko-fi. Now everyone who loves our dux can get their very own!

Now Available for Purchase: And Seek (Not) to Alter Me: Queer Fanworks Inspired by William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing”

Did you miss the chance to back our crowdfunding campaign and get your own copy of our second anthology, And Seek (Not) to Alter Me, which features artwork and stories inspired by Much Ado About Nothing? Well, your time has come! The And Seek (Not) to Alter Me e-book (your purchase gets you PDF, Mobi and ePub formats) is now available for sale in the Duck Prints Press webstore! We also had some extra merchandise to sell – art prints of the front cover and back cover, bookmarks, and our bard dux sticker – which are listed as well! Once those sell out, we won’t be producing them again, so if you wanted to back the campaign and didn’t get to, or if you’ve regretted not getting some of the offered merchandise, don’t miss this chance. We’ve got…

Starting Now: New Titles Every Saturday!

As we work to grow Duck Prints Press, we’re now aiming to expand our catalog and offer a far greater range of titles to you, our reading public! Thus, we will be listing new titles every week! We’re also in discussions with our authors about bringing more novels to publication, and we’ve got a couple novellas in the pipeline too. Starting in November, the weekly short story releases will be themed (November’s theme? Eerie animals, to align with an enamel pin we have coming soon!), but for now, they’re just whatever stories our authors have had waiting in the wings and couldn’t wait to publish.

Coming October 8th: “The Problem With Wishes” by Annabeth Lynch – a charming wlw meet-cute set in fantasy New York City! Price: 75 cents

Coming October 15th: [redacted: this title is erotica. If you want to get updates about our erotica titles, you can sign up here.]

Coming October 22nd: “Got You Covered” by D. V. Morse – two women, each with their own secret, meet at a bus stop. Can they find the courage to pursue a relationship together? Price: 75 cents.
